Halloween Party!

Our good friends always host the best halloween party every year!  This years theme was 

"TV Land" blast from the past TV shows.  I couldn't help but get the 

Spartan cheerleader costumes.  

Cory is such a good sport.  Always willing to dress however i want!  love that boy!

We ate TV dinners and played family feud!  I won for "Most Realistic!" ha!  

my favorite cheer from SNL Spartan cheerleaders is the chess tournament one.

Always hilarious!!

Welcome 2 Summer...

We were thinking about doing our annual neighborhood party on the last day of school, but the 

weather was kinda cold and chilly.  It wasn't warm enough {to me} for water activities. 

So some of us decided to just go to the Alpine park and have a picnic and play Tennis, 

Sand Volleyball and play at the splash pad etc.  

To my surprise it wasn't crowded at all!!  Kids got out at 12:30 and 

we headed straight to the park.

We played and played ALL DAY!!  Lately we've been obsessed with Volleyball, Witney and Jaxon showed up and we played Sand Volleyball with us.  Boston hasn't really played before, just a few times 

and he has been playing non stop and getting really good.  We've even set up a volleyball net in our backyard.  We have nightly games and tournaments.  It's hilarious how good they've gotten.   

Hayes and Livi even serve the ball and get it over the net.  

We've pretty much been partying every day since... nightly BBQ's with cousins, graduation parties,

Witney's home and David and Lauren are staying with us for a few days.  We're loving summer break!!!

Villains vs. Superheroes...

Our friends in the neighborhood do an annual Halloween Party, each year is a different theme.

they go ALL out for this party! it's even a surprise to what the theme is until 

you get your invitation. 

this year it was themed to Superhero or Villain.  It was so much fun!

Cory and I went as Captain Hook and Tiger Lily.  Everyone had such fun and clever

choices of costumes.  Loved seeing everyone dress up!!

we all started off by meeting up at the park behind our house.  Once we took some pictures 

we were off on an "amazing race" to our final destination!  

*We had to get a picture of a "Damsel in Distress"   

which was me being roped to a tree. {can't find the picture}

** get a picture of your true identity by a payphone

***recruit a "Henchman"

****knock off a Kingpin at Jack n Jill bowling.

maybe this was the best part of the night... i laugh every time i 

see this awesome picture!!!

we were the first ones to arrive...  it was very close! 

Luckily we won the prize!

they had so many fun games to play and passed out super clever awards!

they are the ultimate Party Planners!  

our incredible Host & Hostesses... who are we kidding those girls did all the work! haha!

Summer has officially started...

School's out and summer has begun!

we started summer break with a bang!  a bunch of us in our neighborhood all went in on a

bounce house & waterslide.  We had a huge after school BBQ with hot dogs + chips

+ creamies + cupcakes & plenty more yummy treats.

the kids literally played for 8 hours!  we made an awesome {ha!} home made banner

that the kids all ran through and played some water kick ball too!

SO MUCH FUN!

 they also passed out really early too. {extra perk}

I love you summer!! Ahhhhhh

New Years Eve...

we played with the Simpson's all new years eve and had a blast!

we met at 'Malawi's Pizza'  {our fav} and then off to the Provo Beach Resort.  

The kids were in heaven with all of their buddies, {especially my boston} 

The simpson's were our neighbors for a few years in Orem and we always love 

hanging out with them when we get the chance.

we went back to the Simpson's and played lots of Ping Pong 

and Just Dance 3!  {which i rock at btw, haha}

we had a blast ringing in the new year and honestly the kids weren't even tired! 

even my little ivy stayed up! ha

i could watch olivia and hayes play JD3 all day long... they are so cute and surprisingly SO GOOD!!

halloween "maquerade" party!

Our friends in our neighborhood hosted an amazing halloween "masquerade" party this year!  

It was at 'Blue Lemon' restaurant in their event area upstairs.  

 It was AMAZ-ing!  

the tables were decorated so gorgeous with peacock feathers everywhere and everyone had to come masked!  hoping to disguise yourself for a while.  

we had a delicious dinner and played some awesome games & they even hired a magician! 

 we laughed so hard at some of these games, that my stomach  hurt!  it probably didn't help that i also had a corset on as well. 

I didn't bring my camera, i just had my iphone so i didn't get many pictures,

 but i wish i took more of the group. their were some awesome costumes!

  I'm sure those will be coming soon.

cory and i were Zorro & Elena!!  

our kids loved seeing us in our costumes.  we even had to watch the movie later with them. 

they had no idea who zorro was.  haha
