Happy Halloween & Birthday!!

it's my last year in my thirties!! yikes!!  

I absolutley LOVE having my birthday on Halloween!  It is so fun for my kids too.  

It is definitely the busiest day EVER, but so much fun.  

we started off the morning getting kids off to school in costumes, I went to Crossfit

 dressed up in my first costume for the day, a Red Sox fan!  Then ate lunch 

at Cafe Rio with my sisters! My sister Rachel came down from Idaho for the weekend

and I LOVED having her here.  After birthday lunch they met me at the kids

School for the Parade and then Class Party.

I make the Witches Brew every year in their class and they LOVE it! It's my favorite

thing to do,  Ivy was my cute little witchy helper. ha!

After school we had my sisters and their kids and my nephew and niece who 

are here at BYU come and eat some Soup in bread bowls and cupcakes

 before we sent the kids out to trick or treat! 

It was a perfect night for trick or treating... always fun to see all the kids dressed up 

in costumes.  

the night ended with an extra scare to the Haunted Forest with the older cousins... ugh!

Mindy made a yummy Clam Chowder that we ate before heading out... along with the Sweet

Hogle Zoo...

I loved spending an afternoon with my cuties at their school field trip!  This year the weather

was beautiful as we headed up to Hogle zoo.  The animals were so active and their colors so pretty.

We usually go in the spring, so this was a nice change for us.  The Polar bear was playing 

around with the kids and doing tricks in the water etc... it was amazing!  I think  i will 

always go in the Fall now.

Tennis!

These two started playing at Ivory Ridge this fall.  They play once a week and are 

actually getting really good.  They play with Pro's and are learning all sorts of tricks. Hayes 

has an awesome backhand!  

I love watching them play.  I love tennis and can't wait to play on

 a league when Ivy is in school full time, so i gotta get these two ready to go. ha!

First day of school.

These kids were so excited to go back to school!  They all got the teachers they wanted.  The anticipation of going back to be with friends, new clothes, backpacks, etc... 

Ivy started a day earlier than everyone else. She was so excited and sad at the same time.

Have i mentioned how much i love having twins!!  especially love that they have each 

other at school and in the same class!

a week with our besties...

It's always a fun packed week when our bff's come into town!!  we had SO much fun 

with the Granum's!  I Loved that they were here for Boston's birthday week.  

We met at Tucano's and then went night swimming at stonegate. We definitely packed in 

the fun...

We swam, hiked, went to movies, sliding rock, night swimming daily, spa night at Summer's

played with Sadie {their dog}, Hang time, Lowe's Xtreme airsports, lots of sleepovers, 

Waffle Truck, ate at all their favorite spots, including

many Cafe rio stops, Park city slide & Coaster, and more!

I love when my girl is in town, it's continuous fun and laughter!

one afternooon we surprised the Rhodes arrival back home to Utah!  They had

 no idea we would all be in their yard when they arrived.  Best Surprise Ever!!

we went to Lowes extreme and then the waffle truck.  Luckily for me the Hokulia

 shaved ice place was next to the waffle truck so we hit both stops in one!

4th of July!!!

This is truly one of the best holidays!!

 We had a fun filled day celebrating our beautiful country!

 We started off with a delicious breakfast at Nana's with our cousins.

hung out and played for the morning and then off to pick up our cute Boston

from his Trek Expedition.

later that night we celebrated again with our neighborhood with the 

"cul de sac" of fire! haha!!  LOTS of fireworks and bbq!  

It was a perfect day!
