Sisters Trip 2012!

Every year my sisters + sister in laws & our mom go on a sisters trip!

usually in the summer but this year we all thought it would be fun to do the first ever

"Tinkerbell Half Marathon and 5K" at Disneyland!

who knew Disneyland would be so much fun without your kiddos? Seriously we had a blast!

the weather was incredible, we even got to hang out a the beach for a bit and shop around.

It was a quick trip but a lot was accomplished!

we ate our favorite spots we love in Cali, like Togo's and of course "Roundtable pizza!"

My beautiful mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease a couple years ago and knew she

would not be able to walk a whole lot at Disneyland. So we talked her in to letting us push

her around in a wheel chair! she liked that idea!

good thing too, because we got some front of the line passes!!

my mom was a trooper the whole weekend, we dragged that woman around both parks

and even ran her in the 5K race at night!

luckily we stayed at the "Grand Californian Hotel" so we were close enough

to go up to the room and rest a bit before the race

started at 10:30 PM! isn't that crazy to start a race that late?

It was super exciting to run through all of Disneyland and California Adventure for our race.

Characters were there, along with pirates and tinkerbell, captain hook, peter pan, etc. etc.

so much fun!

my mom said she felt like she was riding a motorcycle between my sister

rachel and I pushing her! haha

yah best motorcycle race of her life!

She even ran through the finish line with a little help! That was Awesome!

i LOVE my sisters!!!

we were missing 1 sister {darla} and 1 sister in law {cassy} boo!

after we played for a bit at California Adventure we went back to our room to relax before the run.

this was right before the race started on main street.

they had 4000 runners for the 5k

& then on 17,000 on Sunday for the Half Marathon

Tinkerbell along with fireworks were lighting up the sky!

road trip!

we took nana & went to Arizona to visit our Taylor cousins and celebrate brynn's baptism

and birthday!

it was perfect warm weather!

we shopped plenty! { i am a huge fan of the scottsdale fashion square mall}

& ate plenty...

on friday 11/11/11 we got to spend the day with Uncle Troy in Tuscon. It was a fabulous

experience for me and all of my kids! we love him so much and my kids warmed right up to him.

he loved them!!

we can't wait for him to come home!

boston, brigham and brooke went to open gym at the skate park one night where you ride all sorts

of rails and ramps and jump into a foam pit! obviously they loved it and continued

the tricks throughout the weekend.

we loved spending brynn's special day with her and playing with our cousins.

i love arizona, especially this time of year~ wink

all the kids got to miss school on brynn's birthday {even the high schoolers}

and we all went to lunch and then to

the mall to get her ears pierced! woo hoo!

after she got her ears pierced she looked up at her mom and said

"My dad's gonna kill me" haha!

we were missing our cousin lucy. ha!

hayes loved rocky! he loved trying to walk him, or more like rocky walking him. ;)

these girls were giggling the whole weekend! i just love cousins!!

lots of skateboarding and basketball going all with these boys...

i was not so good at taking pictures this weekend, it was all from my iphone and instagrams. sorry i actually just enjoyed myself.

"Live to Dance" finale...

It was a beautiful and sunny 75 degrees while we were in LA, & was so much fun!

such a fabulous experience for these kids, and they are truly amazing to watch dance.

I went with my sister to California to support my niece witney & "the Vibe" in

their final dance on "Live to Dance."

They were incredible!

every single dance act was deserving to win. It was fun to see

Paula come to the Hotel and rehearse with all the groups. they all became

such cute friends and everyone loved

the Production number that they did at the beginning of the show was so awesome to watch. they pre recorded the whole dance so we got to see them do it over and over again. i loved it!

Paula Abdul is pretty much the cutest little thing. She is so tiny! The kids all loved her but she

definitely can drive you nuts too. haha

we went shopping at "the grove" and "farmers market" daily and ate the most

delicious crepes covered in Nutella. Yummy!

i also loved their chips and quacamole. delicious!

it was funny that the first celebrity i saw while out shopping was "Paula Abdul"
being interviewed by Extra!

we all woke up at 4:45am to get the girls ready to go... it was a long day for them.

this was all the pre-recorded stuff that we went to watch. all the dancers were so sweet to each other. i love love loved the cute ballet couple. Nikki & Ethan, she is such a sweetheart and all of those kids LOVED her!

the night of the show was AMAZING!! I loved watching all the dance acts, especially the Vibe. Did you see me on TV?! who would have thought that they would have sat me by the

"Chi town" breakdancing kids! and to top it off those kids won a new car! haha

I was also sitting right behind the mom and dad of the cute little ballroom couple

who won too! I got some TV time.

the next morning we were eating breakfast next to Kendall and her family. She really is the cutest thing ever. I wanted her to win so bad {of course if the Vibe couldn't}!!
