last moments of summer break...

We have had the best summer! I never want it to end, but love having a schedule 

and normal bedtime routines! ha! 

We had back to school this week as well, kids got the teachers that they wanted, and

were so excited.  

we all picked something we wanted to do the last week of summer. 

We hiked to "Bridal Veil Falls" with the skousens, swam at Alpine Country Club, 

went on bike rides, river rafting, outdoor movie night with the neighbors, and plenty more...

We had an amazing summer! 

Ivy started jumping off of the diving board and doing cannon balls.  

She has become such a great little swimmer!

Steel Days carnival and Parade...

my kiddo's love the carnival, who am i kidding, i love it!! We met Shannon and her

kids there too, which was great for Boston who wanted to ride on all the 

spinning rides.  

We even brought our little sadie {granum's dog that we are dog sitting for 3 months} t

o the carni, which was really interesting.

it was a super hot day so we cooled off with taco amigo's fresh strawberry shakes after. 

the following morning was the Parade.  It was so fun and this year they had these awesome 

real looking dinosaurs, which were a big hit!

a week with our besties...

It's always a fun packed week when our bff's come into town!!  we had SO much fun 

with the Granum's!  I Loved that they were here for Boston's birthday week.  

We met at Tucano's and then went night swimming at stonegate. We definitely packed in 

the fun...

We swam, hiked, went to movies, sliding rock, night swimming daily, spa night at Summer's

played with Sadie {their dog}, Hang time, Lowe's Xtreme airsports, lots of sleepovers, 

Waffle Truck, ate at all their favorite spots, including

many Cafe rio stops, Park city slide & Coaster, and more!

I love when my girl is in town, it's continuous fun and laughter!

one afternooon we surprised the Rhodes arrival back home to Utah!  They had

 no idea we would all be in their yard when they arrived.  Best Surprise Ever!!

we went to Lowes extreme and then the waffle truck.  Luckily for me the Hokulia

 shaved ice place was next to the waffle truck so we hit both stops in one!

The Lakehouse!

 

Our annual lakehouse trip to Lake Couer D' Alene was a blast this summer!  My kids are in heaven with tons of cousins and plenty of fun on the water. My sister  Rachel and her hubby are the ultimate Host's!  She always makes the best food, has plenty of activities for everyone and we actually all sleep there!  This year we had the most we've ever slept. It was a COMPLETE blast! 

 I love the memories we make and especially for my kids.  What an amazing experience to play and enjoy all the family time.  We all went to a wedding just a few days later and met up again.  I love traditions and family memories.  

This year Olivia and Hayes got brave and went cliff jumping!  So much fun to watch them grow up year by year and get more aggressive with water sports.  Boston of course was in pure heaven.  Ivy even went crazy tubing a bit and enjoyed it! ha!

 The all time favorite lakehouse activity, well besides the trampoline of course was tubing!  

Everyone loved crazy tubing... ivy did lots of baby tubing with the other twins.

Grandpa and Grandma Johnson arrived a day later to spend the rest of the week with us.  Love how I caught this moment with these cute cousins... They love their Indiana Jones Grandpa.

We had a bridal shower for Victoria who was getting married to my

 nephew Garrett the following week!
