I've been waiting for this day all year...

Mtn. Biking...

The weather was perfect, the timing just right and of course the highlight of the morning was taking Boston to enjoy it with us.  We went biking up to South Fork and it was beautiful, It's one of my favorite trails because it is so close and so pretty.
I love how you ride through all  the Quakie Aspen trees & Bridges.
He did awesome and ripped on the downhill.  He has already asked when he can get clip pedals! haha

Check out the new "Canyon Sports" Biking Jersey!

After our bike ride, Cory decided that we should go to the Squaw peak Shooting range so I can test out my new gun.  It was on our way home down the canyon so we stopped for a bit to shoot some targets.

We came home and played outside for the rest of the afternoon! I don't think the kids came inside until 9 pm  we have such a fun neighborhood!
  It is Beautiful here in Utah and I love our Utah Summers!

Le'o is married...

Did I already explain how spoiled we are to have the BEST Piano teacher of EVER! Seriously we Love Le'o, She is Boston's piano teacher from Tonga! Absolutely amazing and her whole family is so Musically talented, we witnessed it tonight.

Our neighbors hosted Le'o's reception in their Backyard. Beautiful! The dinner was delicious Teriyaki chicken and the cakes were fabulous. {ok i didn't eat the cake, but they looked delicious}
The entertainment was it's finest...
Her culture was in full swing with Island dancing and the Fire dance! Very cool Entertainment.
Her Cousin is Fui Vacapuna so we got to chat with him and a bunch of other BYU football players. It was a beautiful reception on a beautiful night for our beautiful Le'o.

Did I mention how much we Love her?
{wink wink}

Spring Program

Boston's school had their Spring Program "A Tribute to America" at Timpview High School. It was awesome! The kids all sang such beautiful patriotic songs and each class had a skit/song. Boston's 3rd grade class performed "So many voices" While they wore clothes from different country's around the world.
I love his school, these kids all learned so much about all the countries this year and are now studying the Middle east. They amaze me!

Boston is in the green Mexico jersey...

This song was awesome.  They had the lights off and each child had their flashlight on while singing
"We can be a light!"

at the end of the program, all of the School sang "I am a Child of God" it was a totally different medley and absolutely beautiful, It gave me chills.

Mothers Day Bliss...

I am pretty sure I'm the Happiest Mother alive!  I am so Happy to have such a darling little family who makes me smile all the time. How did I get so lucky?!!

Mothers day  started out with Church at 9am where my Children sang to me on the Stand, always a hi light of mine.

 I had to teach in R.S.  ( I know, teaching on Mothers day, ugh..)
I noticed that Sister Holland {Elder Holland's wife} was there tending her Grandchildren who are in our ward, no pressure right?
It turned out WONDERFUL and she even gave me the greatest compliment after! It set the tone of the whole day!   I'm pretty sure it's what you call a Spiritual high, or maybe the relief that the lesson is over and i don't have to teach for another month.  Either way it was an amazing feeling.

Cory made me the yummiest dinner, the kids set the table and then we ate lots of Chocolate Chip cookies. haha

After my 2 hr nap, we went on a bike ride, which we all LOVE... even little Ivy.  I'm pretty sure we are just a bike riding family.

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful, empowering women who are so involved in my life!

Mothers Day program

Could I possibly be the happiest mom alive?  These two made me smile so big today!

 I love their School, they have the cutest little programs.  Today they had all the Mom's come for the last 15 minutes so they could sing to us.  The Songs are so cute!
  Hayes wasn't really feeling it, but it was so funny to watch him.
{you can just tell he was not going to have anything to do with the Singing}

I think they were most excited to see their Dad there.

Top right corner
{pretty much the littlest ones. Lol..}

gno...

We had a great night with just the girls {no baby} & dinner and a movie...
Cafe Rio' & "Ghosts of Girlfriends past"
Not my favorite movie, but the ending was good.  I was surprised how raunchy it was.  Definitely not for the younger audience.

But oh he is so cute...

Jane and I were totally wearing the same thing... totally not planned!

We're the Proud new owners of...

the Iphone...

I think my kids know how to use it already.
 They have been showing me stuff that I didn't even know about. haha

I may need a crash course from my SIL's!
~Question?  Can I use my own Itunes account on this phone?

Cindo de Mayo...

We spent the evening Hosting a dinner for Our Ward and luckily we got a super fabulous group who are a bunch of our friends.  We decided since it was "Cinco de mayo" we better do it traditional!
 We had Chicken fajitas,{from the Spanish Market} Chips & Salsa/guacamole, Spanish Rice and  Sangria & Chaparittas {drinks} & for dessert Jane brought Tres Leches and they were delicious!

Our Group
Gaisfords, Simpsons, Taylors & Rhodes

The Adults had a nice meal and got to enjoy each others company, while the little kids played inside/outside with all sorts of toys.  We had such a great group!

 The kids loved playing on the Segways...
