School "Valentines" party!

The night before Valentines, Boston had to make his own Valentine Box for his class Valentines.  He helped me cut out this cute little guy...

We had such a fun party today in Boston's Class! We had the Chocolate Fountain ready to dip Pretzels, Strawberries, Cookies, Bananas & Rice krispy treats. We played some fun games Heads down Thumbs up with kisses, and Musical Kisses  then they passed out their Valentines! It was such a crazy afternoon but so fun!

"Heart" day at Preschool...

These two little Monkeys were so hyper before school today.  They knew they were having a Party and passing out their Valentine treats. They were so cute and so fun all day!   I love when i dropped them off today to their class, all the kids were so excited to see them.   The kids all screamed for Hayes and started giggling, while Hayes was acting Crazy!  I think we may have a class clown.

 They are so much fun & bring so much Joy to our family!  What would we have ever done without them...

They have so many fun treats from their party today and Holy cow, Olivia can pound some Candy! hee hee

Snowboarding

Boston & his buddy Calvin are taking Snowboarding lessons this year.  They love Snowboarding but not the lessons, they are so good now & think they are too cool for their lessons.  They seriously do 360's coming down the mountain it is so fun to watch them!

Last monday they went & snowboarded with my sister Mindy & niece Shae for Shae's Birthday!

Camry's Birthday Party...

was at Build -a-Bear workshop and it was the cutest little party ever! Camry is our little cousin and Olivia's bestest buddy!   She just turned "5" so Olivia and Camry will always get to be the same age for 1 month.  It is so funny too, b/c Camry is so tall for her age and my little monkeys are just Tiny.
I loved how each child got to make their own build a bear and take it home.  The kids all loved it and Camry had the Cutest Build a Bear Cake.

Happy Birthday Camry...

Can i get a definition please?

Boston made it into the Spelling Bee at his School for the "3rd" Grade.  He was so nervous and had no idea what to expect.

First off, let me brag him up a little....
He is pretty much an amazing Speller and never needs to study his spelling words, it is just so natural for him.   He has an excellent memory and has just always been a great little speller.

Well, they changed the Spelling bee to be one week earlier and gave the kids one day to look through the words.  well Boston got one night to look through them.  Cory and I were out on our Anniversary date while he was at home studying with Nana and Papa.
When we got home that night, he knew all the words.  They weren't all easy words either. They were like "Heirloom, Earthenware, Souvenir, Candidate" etc...

So on his first round he got the word "Frolic"  so easy, right?

Well he was nervous and started out with "F  O   R,  & said  Oh i mean "F  R  O  L  I C"  ~  Correct, but it was too late and he already said F  O  first.
BUMMER!!!

He looked like he was about to cry and later on did a little.  He is such a sweet little guy and he was so bugged at himself for saying it so fast.

He was so bugged because he knew all the hard words that all the kids were spelling too.
Now he knows for next time...

Good Job buddy!

Boston is in the 2nd row, far right

Congratulations Lacey & Tyson!!

Not only is Lacey Cory's cousin, but one of my really good friends!   She has been babysitting my kids for the last 3 years and is SO amazing.  She is such a big part of our lives.  We love her to pieces and are so excited that she actually found someone worthy of her.

Congrats you two, we love you...

Happy Anniversary!!!

Here is my once a year blog post for my beautiful wife of 13 years.  I can't believe how fast the time has gone by.  It seems like yesterday that we got married (even though we look quite a bit different.  You are hot and I still had baby chub face).  Five kids later and you still have the energy of a 10 year old and you look amazing.  You are more beautiful than ever and you are still my best friend.  I am grateful for the challenges we have faced and conquered together and the life lessons learned from them.  I am grateful for the wonderful Mother you are to our children and for all the sacrifices you make for our family to make sure our lives aren't boring.  I am so grateful for the joy and happiness that abounds in you because you brighten every ones day that is around you.
You truly bring out the best in me and our entire family and for this I am eternally grateful to have you as my wife!  Thanks for the best 13 years of my life and for many more to come (if I can keep up.  My bones are feeling a little achy lately).  I love you!

Cory

Groundhog day

Cory & Boston spent the day Skiing while I played with the little ones here at home. Lately with a baby around it feels like we do the same things everyday & I wouldn't trade it for the world, so yes Groundhog day is what i do best! Ivy is now eating Rice cereal and Carrots, she Loves Food and eats a ton. When we took her in for her 4 mo. Check up she weighed 14.5 pds and is in the 94% for Weight & 90% for height. We just Love our little "Hunk a Chunk of burnin love!"  I am doing great with Capturing pictures of her throughout her life but terrible with the Video Camera, so i need to get on it.

Here are some darling ones of her today...

{she is teething, so i love this one of her with her drool coming off of her cheek ;)}

Hayes & Olivia's little buddy KJ came over to play with them and they love copying anything that he does. I am still in shock that these two do NOT know how to play Video games yet, I swear Boston was rippin at it by age 4!

Then off to another Season of Indoor Soccer, this time our little cousin Camry is on the team with Olivia and so now she has her little buddy. Hayes loves playing with his cousins Carson & Brody.
{Yep, that's Hayes behind Olivia Yawning, haha}

Anniversary Weekend!

Cory & I went with our friends the Rhodes on a Double Date to a Double Feature!
We both share our Anniversaries within a couple of days of each other, & both are celebrating "13 years!"
We decided to spend the Whole Saturday together and started off with Lunch at "Sammy's" in Provo.  It was Delicious and i highly recommend the Pumpkin Pie cheesecake Shake.

Then we hit our first Movie of the Afternoon and it was cute with some good laughs...

Then we headed up to Salt Lake to celebrate with a Super yummy Italian Dinner at "Fresco's"
It was a quaint little place and was very delicious.  I totally loved the Atmosphere and how cozy it was.

Then off to another Movie "Grand Torino."

  Our anniversary isn't until tuesday but we couldn't pass up  a whole day of celebrating with some good friends, good food, & good Movies!!

uh-oh...

It has arrived already?

The Cadbury creme egg is my all time Favorite candy ever!!! Have you ever tried these things? Oh they are Delicious!    It's not even Valentines day and i just saw these babies in Albertsons today! {Don't think i didn't eat "3" of them right there while walking through the Isles.}   Seriously it's that Bad!
This is the reason why i work so hard to lose weight so when Easter comes around i can devour these things, without so much guilt. I thought i had at least a few more weeks before the arrival, well i was wrong!! Mmmmm

"Iggy's"

It's Open finally!!

We have been anxiously awaiting for the Grand Opening of this Restauraunt.  It's one of Cory's Favorite places to go and Eat while watching the Games!  They have Huge screen TV's everywhere with all sorts of Sports Channels so you don't miss anything.  I ordered the Fish tacos and they were Delicious.  The Strawberry lemonade is Cory's and the Kids favorite.  Then we all at their Delicious Lava hot cake with Ice cream all over it. Mmmmmm.... Yummy!
{it was my free night of Dessert}

After Dinner we were off to Pack Meeting where Boston got a Badge for doing a Service project and also a ton of awards, i guess we've missed a couple of pack meetings! haha

We got Talent!!

We had a Talent Show the other night for our family night and it was so fun to see what the kids would do for their Talent.

Boston impressed us with his Amazing Basketball skills {between the legs, Spin on the finger etc...} Olivia decided to play the Piano {she has potential} Dad decided to show off some Head Stands and I did the Traditional somersault accompanied by some Cartwheels. haha
We had a good time, but the best of the night was given to Hayes! He kept telling us all night that his Talent was "Madagascar" and we couldn't quite understand what he was saying, so when it was finally his turn he came over to  i tunes and said "the Madagascar song" and Boston immediately picked up on what he was saying and turned on "I Like to Move it Move it!"

Well this was his Talent....
{Notice his tippy toes the whole time. hahaha}

Ski day!

We are pretty much spoiled when it comes to the best Snow!  Today was Ivy Hall's Ski day so Cory and I decided to take advantage of all the fresh powder and go with  Boston.   We took our Amazing neighbors  Zach and Luke, who are fabulous Skiers with us and we had so much fun.   The Powder was AWESOME, and definitely a Perfect day for Skiing!  Boston decided to Ski instead of Snowboard since his buddy's were coming and he was excited to hit some Jumps!

Jumps we Hit... Don't let these kids fool you, they dragged my butt through some Serious Terrain and i even questioned some of the jumps they would hit!
Before we got on the  Chair lift, Zach asked me if i was a "Lodge" Skier or a "Skier?"
  Uhmmmm, well i wasn't going to Admit that i liked to Chill in the Lodge & drink my Hot Cocoa  to get warm after a few runs that would be what "Losers" do!  Ha ha
So  Yes,  I was the Only girl hanging with all these boys and they are so much fun!! I love that i tried it, Hit it and Even landed most of them!  It was a Perfect Day...
Sometimes i think i should have had ALL BOYS.
Luke, Boston & Zach

Boston, getting some Sweet air.
I love this one of Cory,  doesn't that look so fun with all the Powder?
