Taylor Christmas dinner.

We had our annual Christmas dinner and Nativity at the gunther home this year.

we had the most amazing Nativity program that candace put together and all the kids
in their costumes.  Always so amazing and absolutely adorable.

Cory made his famous Prime Rib to go with the rest of the delicious dinner, and then we
 had the cousins gift exchange along with the adults.

it's always so fun when we get together and the kids love playing a part in the nativity.

hayes was Joseph and he was so excited!
livi was an angel
Boston was one of the wisemen
and Ivy was a cow! haha

so stinkin cute.
and not a dry eye this year while Ava sang her darling song to start out the program.
it was so beautiful, the whole production!

taylor brothers with their daughters

 Hayes as Joseph and Reese as mary

Ivy did not want to be an angel, so we found her a cow costume. hahaha

The Tables made by Reese and Hannah.
look at how darling the girls did the tables, they did some art work by everyone's name.
I loved how they did Cory's , because it was his Birthday!!
isn't that so darling?

two little buddies/cousins
{the only two boys amongst the many little girl cousins}

The BIRTHDAY boy!

we sang "happy birthday" to all of the December babies!
 We ate cake with "graham canyon" & "brunt almond fudge" ice cream from BYU Creamery
seriously the busiest birthday month for birthdays. Look at all those...

the moment they've all been waiting for!!

Happy Birthday honey!

 Our handsome daddy, {notice the sexy shaved face} turned "39" and we
 celebrated him all day!

my kids were so excited to make him breakfast in bed & give him their homemade cards.
Cory is such a simple guy, who would love me and the kids to spend
 NO money on him, just gifts of service and love. his request!
{plus he is very hard to shop for}

so we showered him with service all day and then topped off his day with a delicious
"prime rib" dinner with all of his family.

we are so lucky to have the "worlds best daddy" and hubby!
He makes our life so good!
love you babe, enjoy your last year of your "thirties!"~wink

i asked the kids what they love most about their daddy...

Boston~ "i love to watch football and dog the bounty hunter with you"
Hayes~ "i love your pretend stories you tell me at night"
Olivia~"i like it when you tuck me in bed"
Ivy~ "happy birthday daddy!"

Cousins Christmas party...

The curry's were fabulous enough to allow us to have the Hansen Cousins party
at their house this year.

SO much fun!

We had the Theme of "pay it forward"
 We started it out with a cousin "service" exchange  that Tasha had done before through
"Elfster"  which is awesome, You put your names in and it anonymously
 assigns you to your secret elf. you can email and ask as many questions as possible.
We decided to keep our secret cousin gift to an act of service, little or big.

it was so fun to be surprised & had no idea who did it for you,
 and then we revealed who we were that night.

 the night of the party we had a "soup kitchen" with yummy soup & bread bowls.
Tasha had found cards to pass out that said "pay it forward" and bracelets.

then of course the fabulous 'white elephant' gift exchange, that is always so hilarious!

The Hostesses...
{p.s  yes i have braces...}

Of all people, we were dying that McCall opened this present!! haha

Lacey and her jeweled "maxi pad slippers"  homeade of course!!

this is just so cute, their new little puppy 'Bauer'
isn't he adorable?

my kids all want a puppy for Christmas! haha

"Ugly Sweater Party"

 I still cannot believe i did this! It was so hilarious!

I had no time to shop for our Ugly Christmas sweater, so i borrowed Ours from our Cousins.
Remember this party we hosted a couple of years ago??!!
Of course when you borrow them from a FOWLER cousin you are going to get the goods!

i stuffed my top to go with the sweater, and needless to say we all had a few laughs.
I think the best part was when we came a little late and walked in right before the prayer so we had a "grand entrance!"

I did however come in 2nd place for the ugliest sweater!!

thanks Jenn & Ryan, I love these parties & it was so much fun,
 my cheeks hurt from laughing all night!!

isn't cory's awesome too??!! haha

Pajama party!!

I can't explain how much i love our Kindergarten class!
My kids have a fabulous teacher {3 actually} and she is so patient!
for their class christmas party they were having a pajama party while they
ate cereal and watched 'annabelle's wish' they were asked to bring their favorite
 pillow and blanket.

my kids have an obsession with these footed sleepers.
so i kinda cringed when they wanted to wear these jammies instead
of their darling darling christmas Jammies!

still so so cute...

Boston's class was so fun, they had a breakfast brunch.
every 5th grader brought their favorite cereal and  the tables were decorated with
 wrapping paper while they ate their cereal brunch and did arts and crafts.

t by the time i got there to take a  picture they had taken it all down and were playing dodge ball!
Boston was very into the game, as children were getting hurt left and right. lets just say t
hat the teachers call him "very competitive."
{i pulled him aside and kindly told him to not play so rough and hit the kids hard with the ball and he looked at me with a smirk like i was an idiot and said "that's the whole point of the game"
 ~boys will be boys}

Birthday Bliss...

My little cutie's couldn't wait for their birthday breakfast of
yummy crepes!

~we sang to them with the #6 candle on their crepe.
 {that's what they wanted so bad!}

~had a school party with their friends, while I presented their posterboards & treats!
{they were the 'star students'}

~enjoyed their favorite "spaghetti w meatballs" dinner with our cousins, made by dad.
DELICIOUS!

it was such a fun day!

Another wonderful & crazy thing about boy/girl twins is their birthday parties.
i love to keep them together but branched out last year and did separate
 parties for them but at the same time.
Fun, but a little crazy having all the kids together,  plus i really
wanted to enjoy them at their own party.  So we did separate days this year.

 Olivia was first...

 we had a darling little tea party for her.
 We just love "Dear Lizzie" & thought it would
be just perfect for our girl to have an afternoon tea with her
friends for her "sixth" birthday!

she loved it!  {mom loved it~wink}
the girls ate turkey sandwiches and cupcakes while drinking their tea.
the table was decorated so darling and the girls came all dressed up.

pretty stinkin adorable if you ask me!

The Invitations to the 'tea party'
cute little crowns with the girls initial on them...

the treats at the table...

the favors to the girls

the darling little girls...

all livi wanted for her birthday was for her daddy to shave his beard.
so she helped him shave it off.  doesn't he look so handsome?!!
such a softy of a dad.

Ivy and Hayes kept switching spots at the table.

i love how Hayes could care less that he was the only boy there.  We were actually all sitting next to their table with our own drinks adoring the girls tea party {boston thoroughly playing his rubix cube}, but hayes had a spot if he wanted to sit with them and good thing he did, because the girls took a while to warm up and talk to eachother, and hayes got colee giggling like crazy.

He's good for some entertainment when you need it!

girl parties are so much different than boys.

 Girls really are sugar & spice and everything nice...
scroll down to the next post to see Hayes' party we had the next morning!!

"Calling all SUPERHEROES!"

My little hayes-ie bugs had such a fun "superhero" party!

Hayes' favorite place is 'jump on it' and we had a blast flipping and jumping with
 friends and a surprise appearance from ...

"Batman"

Batman was so awesome,  he did backflips and jumped with the kids. Played tag with
 them and showed them how he learned all his sweet 'bat tricks' then he told
them to follow him so they could jump off of tall buildings!

 it was Perfect! They loved him!

I made all these superhero capes for the kids with the initial "H" for Hayes aka {Hero}
and i must admit it was so worth it seeing all these superheroes
jumping around with those capes on.  My friend Stacia made the awesome cake,
 she's got some serious skillz!

and i promise i did not rent out the whole place... i just love how No one was there but us!!
such a fun day for my boy...
