Johnson Reunion {fourth of July}

We drove all the way to Oregon, my Dad's territory!  He has the most beautiful view from his home on the Mountain.  We got to stay the night at his place before we all headed to Whisper Canyon Ranch in Lake Selmac.  It was so fun to see his handmade "bridal veil falls" in his backyard.  The kids loved his view and shot golf ball off the mountain. ha!  

We all put on our Johnson family reunion shirts and did some morning Yoga while 

we enjoyed our view.  

We spent the fourth of July going through the Redwoods of California 

{super close to the Oregon coast} and then off to the Coast.  

It was a perfect and beautiful day to be so adventurous with so many people.  We were surprised that it wasn't crowded at all, perfect for us!   Grandpa told us lots of information and trivia!

Kids had a blast climbing up the huge Redwood trees and of course doing handstands/headstands!   The coast was gorgeous too, and the kids jumped in the ocean and swam for a bit.  After the Redwoods we went to a delicious pizza place and then off to the Coast.

possibly my favorite day and adventure... Something i have always wanted my kids to do

with my Dad, before he got too tired and old.  He knows this river so well, and i love that he took 

us all down together to have such an awesome experience.  Even Ivy went!
This was bucket list stuff for me!

***Whisper Canyon Ranch***

This place was so much fun, so beautiful and very peaceful...

horses, bunnies {brand new bunnies}, volleyball, horseshoes, etc... the kids had a blast.  The cabins

were so nice, with guest cabins, and master suites. Nice job dad and madge!

never a dull moment and many volleyball tournaments were played.

My awesome brothers and sisters, I'm a very lucky little sister.

It was so weird going to Mesa Arizona and not spend time or stay with our Arizona Taylor

cousins.  They moved to china just a few weeks before the wedding.  We missed them 

while eating at our coveted "Tia Rosa" restauraunt.  

My nephew Garrett got married in the Mesa Arizona temple in August. Hottest 

day and weekend ever! ha!  We all had a fabulous time celebrating their wedding.  Cory and 

Boston couldn't come due to football starting. boo!

The reception was Ah-mazing!  The Venue was beautiful and the food and open bar was To. Die. For! 

she even had a churro bar! Victoria planned the wedding of the year... 

dancing was a hit with my kids, especially with Hayes and Brody. They were so 

hilarious.  The johnson cousins tore it up again on the dance floor.  It's 

my favorite thing to watch!

it was an absolutely gorgeous day at the Newport Beach temple. The grounds were 

gorgeous and it was such a beautiful temple.  

After the wedding, we took pictures and then off to the wedding luncheon 

at a delicious mexican restaurant in Irvine.  The cousins were hanging out all 

day, and we are quite the bunch!  I love how close these kids are to each other. The older

cousins are such FABULOUS examples.  These kids all worship their older cousins.

 It was so fun to visit with Ben and Jacquie

and their cute little baby bennett who now live there,  My kids are now 

obsessed with Google! ha! {ben's new job}

 The Reception was later that evening in LA and it was a beautiful backyard, yummy food and 

again the Johnson cousins took over the dance floor.  Hey we are a fun group of kids! ha!  

everyone one would do the Chant and then that person would tear it up on 

the dance floor. It was hilarious.  Especially the littles!
