Panama City, Florida...

My niece Witney is now the lead in the Movie "East Side Story"  and they 

are filming in Panama city.  It is Ridiculously gorgeous there.  The beaches

are incredible!  It was so fun for Jill and I to go on set and watch her do her thing.

We shopped, ate yummy dinners and just enjoyed the Florida sun and beach in 

January!  Can't wait for the Movie to come out in the Fall!

Fall Break...

The weather this fall has been incredibly beautiful here in Utah.  

We enjoyed our surroundings for our "Fall Break" with friends and cousins.  

Staying home is a necessity these days.  {we've been busy} 

We started off with early out on Wednesday at noon!

We went with our friends the Horsley's to Swim at the AF pool.  

No One was there which made 

it even more fun!

thursday we started first thing with "Cornbelly's" at Thanksgiving point

 with my sisters and their kids.  It's So much fun! 

If you haven't been yet this fall, you don't want to miss this!

they definitely upgraded this year with a huge Slide and more haunted houses!

honestly they spent about an hour here building a house with huge lincoln logs.  

who would have thought you could be that entertained with pieces of wood??  

after Cornbelly's we headed to Chick Fil A for lunch and then off to see

 "FrankenWeenie" 

I liked it, but it was a little weird... like all of Tim Burton's movies.  

Friday we went to breakfast at Magelby's fresh. {Boston's pick} and sent Cory and Boston

off with Tyler and his boys to go Hunting!  

they were so excited to go camping and hunting....hoping to come 

home with something.

***Saturday***

 Brody had his birthday party at "All American Gymnastics" which was so fun 

to play on all the equipment! The twins have taken gymnastics there last year and were 

so excited to come back and play there.  

even I got a little excited to do some fun stuff! {wink wink}

Monday we woke up and "Hiked the Y" with our friends the Child family!  I can't believe my

 little ivy did it all by herself.  I initially tried to carry her in a back pack, but it was SO heavy and

 that hike is SO steep!  So she hiked it holding my hand. Haha!  I kept telling her how exciting

 it will be to tell her daddy and everyone that she hiked the Y at 4 yrs old! She held strong 

& did it, even her dog 'Boo' made her appearance! 

 Boston, Calvin and Cobe pretty much ran up to the top. ha!

After the hike we went to Malawi's and ate our very favorite pizza!  the kids 

walked around the shops at riverwoods for a bit and then we headed home.

it was a perfect end to our fall break!

Boston is a Utah fan!  so he is being a little stinker and showing his "U" sign while on the Y!

we told ivy she can take a nap because it's kinda scary and she totally 

fell asleep right when it started!

Soul Surfer...

Is a definate must see!
 we are here in hawaii and went to see this movie.  We absolutely loved it.
 So inspiring and i can't wait to get out and surf TOMORROW! Literally!
   seriously Bethani Hamilton is so inspiring and it

 is a beautiful message for all to see.

i think i cried throughout the whole movie!

"spirit week" at school...

our school had "spirit week" this past week.  Tuesday was "sassy sock" day and i have
no idea where those pictures are.  Weird!   they had fun dressing crazy all week long.

 my niece witney came over after school and had no idea about "crazy hair day" and said to us 

"wow hayes' hair is so cool like that'!  hahaha  she's a freak!

after school today {early out} Boston had a "dodgeball" tournament against the junior 

high kids and his 5th grade team of kids WON the championship!  They were so excited 

especially since the championship game was against the "8th" graders!

We always go to see a movie on early out and today we saw this with some friends. 

 They loved it, i had a couple of laughs too.  Boston loves the books, he's actually reading the kids one of the books right now.  so cute! 

 Then we took our reports cards and went  to "krispy kreme." 

they reward all "A's" with an original glazed donut!  

How awesome is that?  

wow, this week went by fast!

i'm still here...

it's not like me to not be blogging daily, sheesh... what's my deal?!

I am still alive and just hanging out with my cute little family recovering. I've been watching

plenty of icarly, Good luck Charlie,Dora and lots of redbox movies!

we have early out on friday so we escaped to the theater right after school to see this movie...

'Rango'

we loved it.  lots of giggling in this movie.

  

We've been busy with Boston's state report.  I love that his teacher put all the

 states in a bowl and all the kids picked their state without knowing.  I love that Boston

 picked "Massachusetts"  how ironic. haha

we've been learning some very interesting facts. It is quite the state project too.  

The kids have been going to gymnastics and perfecting their flips and cartwheels.  

Olivia is getting ready to perform with her dance company at many competitions 

coming up and I am so excited!

Ivy is always cracking us up with the things she says... the other day she was hiding behind the curtains and we asked her what she's doing. she said "hurry & hide the cops are coming!" haha

where is she getting this stuff?!  She loves playing with the Ipad and watching her

 momma kick some butt at "angry birds!"

Cory is getting ready for biking season, he has a big bike trip coming up.  it's like torture

to see people outside running and biking while i am limping around on my foot. 

seriously, this weather has been amazing.

anyway, i'm alive and doing great.  I love taking the time to just hang with my babies and

enjoy the things that they do on a regular basis.  I occasionally  prop my leg up on the couch pillows while icing my foot and i am suddenly surrounded by all my little cuddle bugs.  Every child is sitting on me, laying on me or close by.  it warms my heart.  I could get used to this!

I loved spending a whole saturday with friends and watching a double feature!

cory and i headed out on saturday early on a much needed "happy sumo" fix 

before our birthday festivities with the Rhodes began.  

we went to the Gateway ate lunch and then met everyone for the Movie

  I love my polaroid app on my phone. { i forgot about it until just recently} it's a "retro camera" with  different ways to take polaroids.  I love how the pictures turned out.

"Authors tea"

Boston's "2nd" grade teacher is so Amazing. She does the greatest Projects for the kids and we have been so lucky to have her as his Teacher. All the kids wrote their own books. Boston's was on "Rattlesnakes" and he was just thrilled to learn so much about them and publish his book! Today was the "Authors Tea" and all the parents came and ate Refreshments while reading with all of these wonderful Authors.
It was so cute how organized the books were. They did their own art work and had a Table of Contents and Glossary.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENN...

Happy Birthday to my "BFF" ;)! Jenn is truly an amazing friend and we have an absolute Blast when we are together! There is never a Dull moment with us. She is an amazing Mother and i learn from her example ALWAYS! It's funny how someone could have the same amount of energy as me, but she does and she totally keeps me active, even when i am sick and Pregnant, {or having my twins home as Babies, haha} she is keeeping me going!

Thanks for always being there for me, I love that we are Neighbors, and I love that we get to share so many fun memories with our families together! i Love you TONS!! Have a Wonderful Birthday!

We went to her Birthday Dinner last night with some friends to Tepanyaki and then to the Movie "21"! Good Food and Friends makes for a very fun night!

Congratulations WITTERS!!!!!

My SUPER Talented and Adorable Niece Witney, Tried out for
"High School Musical 3" and she MADE IT!!! She has a for sure part in the Musical as a Dancer, We don't know anything else. She got the Part right away and didn't even need a Call Back!

She also had a HUGE BYU Ballroom Competition on Friday and She and her company won 1st place in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!! Way to go Witters!
~She is seriously an AMAZING Dancer!

One "Eventful" holiday...

Well, we woke up this morning to a TON of Snow, and we had to get out and Play in it!
Our neighborhood is so fun, everyone came out with their toys and started pulling kids everywhere! Boston & Chase were on Tubes behind the Rhino and loving it....All afternoon.

We even made Snowballs and i brought out the Flavored Syrup and all the kids ate "Snow cones" while we were waiting!

After Sledding/Tubing, we all ate Lunch at Jenn's and then went to see a movie.
My kids loved The Veggie tales Pirate movie, even Boston.
After the Movie, we went to eat at "Brick oven Pizza", this Guy who makes Anything out of Balloons was there and made some AMAZING stuff! He made Olivia a Princess Crown, and Hayes a Monkey holding a Banana. He was making Transformers, Motorcycles, helicopters, etc... He said he can even do Disney princesses. SO COOL!
Well there is no picture of Boston & Hayes' balloons, because after the guys spent 20 min on it, Hayes Ruined it right away...Oops!! ;) And we pretty much begged Boston to wait until Crew's Birthday and he can have him make 2!! (it did take forever)

~oh and on top of all of this, Guess who is getting "Potty Trained"??!!
