Baseball Playoffs

Hayes has some serious fans at his baseball games!!  

we all LOVE to cheer for him and hope he gets a hit.

his team made it to the semi finals and hayes hit and scored!  

he was SO proud and the happiest kid!

we celebrated by eating some JCW's Ice cream!

Hayes has been LOVING his baseball season, we have just a few more games until the playoffs.

It's Machine Pitch and he loves being on the same team as his cousin and his friend.

to play in this league they had tryouts and i was dying that they did that at age 7! crazy!

He has learned a lot this season and can hit the ball and is learning

 how to be a good fielder. {wink wink}

when they hang out in the dug out, this is usually what i find him doing...

they love having games like their brother {that is all we have ever done} and hayes especially loves

 that he is #7 just like his big brother!  boston was so pumped that

 hayes picked that number! haha

they actually have an awesome team.  next year they go straight to machine pitch. 

 i am so glad that they finally have their own games to go to.  even if they are freezing

 cold and windy.  they don't seem to mind.

the 'Boston Red Sox'

we were so excited when we found out that Boston was on the Boston Red Sox team! 

 we are playing in the majors this year and have an awesome group of kids who are 

amazing little ballers!  it helps that we have awesome coaches too.  Our good friend 

Casey Child and Cory are helping coach these handsome boys.

we have had horrible weather for the first few games and on top of the weather being cold and rainy we have Olivia and Hayes playing this year too.  So it's super busy around here during the week. 

this game was the first beautiful day and the twins didn't have a game either so it was awesome!

boston was playing against his cousins team, {dakota & tanner} who won the championship last year,

 so he was super excited and wanted to make sure he played good. 

well WE won!!

Championship game!

So we didn't win the Last game, but we got 2nd place! These kids played so good and in the 100 degree weather! The Salt Lake Rebels ended up winning!

"Tournament of Champions"

Yes, we are Champions!!! We (the Sugarkings)won 2 of our Games today and one yesterday! We are now in the final Championship tomorrow! The games today were seriously Incredible! We beat a team who was Undefeated, and we won 17-10! Boston hit once and Bunt once and Scored Both times!!


Way to Go SUGARKINGS!!!

This week was a pretty crazy week for Boston and Sports! He had a little break when he went with his Dad last weekend to Work in Jackson Hole, Wyo, and Of course had a Blast! He got to Go down the Alpine slide, Go to a Corn Maze, Wakeboarding and Camping! So he was definitley entertained! (Thanks Tasha)

He has been in Golf Camp this week and has loved it!(not waking up early though)

On Wednesday he had Day Camp for Scouts, Thursday was the Beginning of our Baseball Tournament(double header) and afterwards the kids in our Neighborhood had a Swim Party and Watched "Jaws" on a HUGE Blowup Screen outside while they were in the pool! The mortons keep there Pool at like 90 degrees so it was like a Bathtub and Perfect for me!

Today he woke up and had his last day of Golf camp, Swim team practice, Baseball tournament and a Indoor soccer game at 6:30!

Call us NUTS....But he LOVES it!
It will all be over after this weekend though! Whew....

Lets hope we win tomorrows games and our Team will be #1 in UTAH!!!

SWIM MEET & BASEBALL GAMES!

We started off our "Eventful" Day in Springville at 8 am with our first swim Meet of the Season (we missed last weeks meet when we were in California) and Boston was on Fire! He placed 1st in Freestyle, 1st in Backstroke, 1st in the Freestyle Relay and 2nd in Breastroke! He will actually win the 1st place for breaststroke because the other boy got Disqualified! So he was pretty much pumped! We love to watch this kid swim, he is a little Fish!



Since it was over at 10am we headed over to the Cracker Barrel for some Delicious Breakfast before we were off to his 12:00 Baseball game! Boston was quite the Athlete today! He seriously LOVED it! We played another game at 4 pm (may i add the weather today was 103) At least there was a Breeze for those Boys. They won both games and then we went to Riverside to Swim and Cool down for the night!
Throughout all of this we did manage to get to Costco and cory made us a Delicious Dinner of Crab legs!
I am sure Boston is Passed out on the Couch by now, he is excited to watch the new episode of Man Vs. Wild/Iceland!

BYU Baseball Camp & Swimming!!!!

Boston, Brigham and Chase all spent the last 2 days together at BYU's Baseball camp! It was at the Miller Field, and they had the Head coach and Assistant coach of the Baseball team Coach them on Hitting and Playing infield! One whole day was for Hitting and The boys LOVED it! They want to go back so bad!
Then after the Camp i took them with me to Riverside to Swim and they LITERALLY were jumping, flipping, Diving, etc... The whole time!! These boys are animals, Today Boston and Chase were Diving off the Hi Dive and It looked so Sweet, They could seriously be on a Diving team! Brigham did a Front flip off the Hi dive and Decided that wasn't a great idea, so he would pull the remainder of his tricks on the Low dive! Coop and Cam came over too and Braved the Diving board for the First time! yahoo!! Oh i owe you boys a Churro!!
We are having such a fun week with cousins, I now have Witney here and Ally and they are such fun Kids!! We had a Girls Spa night tonight and we were sitting in the Sauna (they couldn't believe that people actually like to sit and Sweat) and Witney asked me if i was alive when Princess diana was! haha Ok.... so i am not that old! They are sooo Funny

The "Game Ball"

Boston had a Double header today! One game started at 9 a.m. and then again at 6 p.m. So we stayed busy! The first game his friend Chase came up with us to watch him, and he played good and WON! The second game he hit everytime and Was playing Exceptionaly well, so he got the "Game Ball"! There were 3 kids who Hit Home runs in the same game, and Boston still got the "Game Ball" (which is a very big deal). He was just Grinning all night and was so proud of how Great he played, Oh and they WON again!!!
Hayes was a little Crazy today and would try to run as fast as he could out into the Ball field (while the game was going) We let him take off and run all the Bases when the Games are over, He thinks it is pretty cool! He is one BUSY little Kid!

Inbetween games we went to The Stonegate Pool to cool down with the Kids! We all LOVE that Pool! Hayes is quite daring with the water now! He starts laughing his head off when the water level is touching his Neck, which FREAKS me out!

Last night we took Boston on a Date with us to see SHREK the Third! SOOOO Funny! We seriously laughed the whole time!
Then we went to get Boston his plant he has been wanting since Scouts the other night...."The Venus Fly Trap" He is so excited to see this plant catch bugs and Hold them!
It WORKS!

Soccer!

IT IS SO COLD TODAY! We all of the sudden have more snow on the benches and Rain today!
So I didn't get a Picture of Boston playing in his Soccer game tonight, it was so WET and Cold! But he wants me to Blog that he Scored "2" Goals tonight and was on FIRE! He was doing seriously so good! All the kids had a Blast playing in the Rain and they were seriously Dripping wet! One more game on Saturday and Soccer is done! He is now just playing Baseball, until June then he has Soccer Camp, Swim Team & Golf Camp! WOO HOO

Boston has a Doubleheader tomorrow after School! Lets hope it's warm and Not RAINING! Ugh..

DOUBLE HEADER!

Today Boston's Baseball team played in Heber against the Heber Creepers and The PROVO Dawgs! They lost the first game by 3 points, and Won the Second game! Way to go Sugarkings!!! He had 2 RBI's and played outfield and Second.
I thought it was a LONG day, but He LOVED it!

Olivia and Hayes were my amazing babies of the Day and Slept for 2 hours in their stroller while I got to REALLY watch the Game! That's a very big deal!!

BASEBALL!

Boston & the Sugarkings had their first Loss! I dont even remember the Score, However they did play against a 9yr old team!
It was good for them to see what mistakes they were making, so now the coaches can help them improve the game. They really didn't lose that bad, I just had 2 babies all over the place so I didn't keep track of the score.


Boston got the Game Ball! He was the only one to hit off of this amazing pitcher! He was so excited, everyone thought he was the BOMB! It was pretty amazing for him, He even scored in 2 runs, and scored for himself also!
We have three more games and then we are done with Baseball until Spring.
Soccer is now over also, until the Spring, So I pretty much don't look forward to the Spring Craziness again!

We had a soccer game this morning in Orem, and Baseball this afternoon in Heber.
Boston scored a goal in soccer, he was so excited! They were up 3 points to 1 and then the other team ended up winning. It was a good game!
Then in Baseball (they are the Sugar kings) they won 16-3 it was a great game! Their baseball team is amazing. They are all 7 or 8 years old. It is so fun to watch. It was cool, because we got to see alot of our friends from our old neighborhood in Pleasant Grove, Their kids were playing in the 10 yr old League in the Field next to ours, So that was fun to see them. They hadn't seen Hayes & Olivia since they were babies either so they were loving to see how big they have gotten.
Our next game is in Park City against the Miners. Boston played 2nd base, he did great! He just loves Baseball.
