Black friday...

was in full force this year...

I went at MIDNIGHT! Crazy i know, but super sweet deals i did get...
came home slept and went again in the morning to Target... {finished}

while we were shopping shopping shopping, these kids went with our friend in our ward who was Boston's teacher at church. He is also the boys Gymnastics coach at "all american gymnastics." He took his kids with Boston, Brooke & Brigham to play for a few hours at the gym. It was sweet for these guys, because the gym was CLOSED for everyone else.

They played indoor football, hung from the ceiling and dropped into the foam pit and learned more tricks and jumps.

They scored big time. Thank you Marr's!!

gingerbread houses...

All these cute little cousins got together to make gingerbread houses. The dad's and big boy cousins went skeet shooting. {Boston was proud that he shot one}

Thanks to Aunt Holli all we had to do was bring some candy. She made everyones houses.
It was so fun to do this all together, and actually my little ones decorated it all by themselves.

then they ate them all the way home. haha

these two cuties had fun just eating all the candy off the ground...

So much to be thankful for...

My beautiful happy and healthy children who enrich my life daily! My hardworking, handsome hubby who has made me one happy mama, my testimony of the gospel which grows more and more every day, family, good friends, beautiful surroundings and
a beautiful life...

Thanksgiving morning started out with an early morning "turkey bowl" with all of our Hansen cousins. Of course one of the highlights of the day...

we ate our delicious turkey dinner with the Taylor's. The food was amazing of course, because Candy is a fabulous cook and made the main dishes!! We had great company. All 36 guests arrived, yep that's right Cory and I hosted "36" guests! We had 2 adult tables filled, a teenager table, 2 little kid tables and 3 little ones in high chairs. We took some family pics while the kids were playing crosswords/coloring and eating the appetizers...

The Taylor grandkids with their "great grandparents" Chrismom and Poppy.

cute little cousins

My sister mindy and her family came and joined in on the fun too.

The Tables...

after dinner while everyone was cleaning up, we went upstairs in the game room to play "BINGO" with the kids. It was so fun for the kids and fun to have toys to play with for the rest of the evening too.
While we were searching through the ads, these guys were thoroughly entertained...

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving...

"polar express"

We are huge fans of borders.

This year they did the Polar Express storytime a little early. We went on Saturday after Olivia's dance and they got to wear their jammies and watch the movie. They handed out their famous Hot cocoa and cookies while the little kids were making crafts, coloring or just watching the movie. It was so fun for these guys. They even got little bells too.

Boston and Cory were drinking their Hot chocolate while browsing the store looking for some new book to read.

this cute little one loved walking around and destroying everything. Good thing she's so stinkin cute...

Pirate island pizza...

After our "polar express" storytime we went to Pirate island to eat some pizza and play.
My niece Lauren and Charlee came with us. Sadly Jack Sparrow was not there, Hayes was really excited to see him. But the balloon guy made up for it by making him all sorts of blowup balloons.

believe me they all got scrubbed down at home after this adventure...

Dear Aunt Cassy...

my sil made these darling little shirts and livi's skirt too. Aren't they adorable?!

IN-N-OUT ...

...is finally open!

Yep i got suckered into waiting in the 30 minute drive thru line after school on opening day. My kids (and neighbor kids) are spoiled!
What kind of a freak does this?! haha

p.s. it was totally worth it.

"New Moon"

~don't think me and my girlfriends didn't wait in line for 2 hrs to watch the midnight showing of this movie~ok 3 hrs!

I loved it... i'm sure it's because this was my favorite book. and I'm really sure it's because I love werewolves! Mmmmmm...

Gingerbread Festival...

Thanksgiving point had their annual Gingerbread festival. Lots of Gingerbread houses on display to vote and to do a silent auction. Plenty of entertainment, face painting, storytelling, and even Santa Claus. Some of these houses were amazing. They are all made out of gingerbread, even that picture of the Salt Lake Temple...

Weekend fun...

Our weekend consisted of some fun birthday plans with our friends and a date night for ourselves. Well our babysitter got sick.
Boston was at the Bingham high school football game with some friends so we played with just the little ones at home and had our own kind of fun.

We woke up to just a little bit of snow, but SO cold outside. These crazies & Boston {not pictured b/c he was in his underwear. haha} were running out to eat some fresh snow. They were so excited to see it finally snow...

burr... now it's official. Winter is here...

We watched some movies, ate lots of popcorn and hot chocolate. All at the twins request!
I love playing with these little monkeys. They always make us laugh!

Hayes' special day...

My twins are into "Special days." It came from "special helper" at school to their own special day...

So every once in a while {more like twice a week} I give them their own day. Today was Hayes' day to do what he wanted! you know like be the first one to open the door, first one out of the car, push the bottons on the elevator, etc. etc.

So he wanted to go to "jump on it" with his buddy/cousin Carson. It was sweet because we went right when it opened and NO ONE was there. I highly recommend it!
