Day Camp for my little cub!

Hayes was SO excited for his first time at day camp!  Boston was telling him all about 

the BBgun shooting, and Archery!  He couldn't wait to spend the day at camp

Jerimiah Johnson!  He left at 6:30 am with his fellow scouters and had a blast.

he came home with a sling shot and some cool stuff he made. 

love that he had such a great time! 

BYU Lacrosse camp

After Boston's birthday that following monday was the BYU Lacrosse camp.  He was so excited to 

go and play for 4 days and stay in the dorms {budge hall} with a roommate and everything.

My friend susan had signed up her son Cason so he and Boston got to be roommates.

They had so much fun.  Boston's friends zack and jake were there too, across the hall.

Boston said it was the best week of his life.  

I still can't believe my boy is old enough to stay over night at BYU! 

 It was possibly the hottest week of 

the summer to, so i was so worried he was going to get dehydrated.

He got to eat at the cannon center all the time.  He took some pictures on his phone of all the 

food there and said he was in heaven! haha

love that he learned so much and had such a great time with his buddies.

Taylor Family Reunion 2012!

we started the reunion on the 'fourth of july'  

one day the boys went down the provo river kayaking, while the girls got pedicures and went out

 to breakfast.  Cory said the kayaking was a blast.   just check out those stretchy pants. haha

then we met up for lunch and played kickball... adults against kids.  good times!

these cute girlies always wanted cute high buns.  

after a yummy dinner we all got ready for family pictures.. attempting this many grandchildren 

{most of them under the age of 6} is always comical.  haha

loved the number idea!! Each child got to color their number.

we celebrated July birthdays... Boston, Victoria & uncle Jake

then the kids all got ready for "Nana's Camp!"

Nana stays the night in the tent with the kids, they make banana boats, and then in the morning

they eat papa's pancakes.  she does this every year. They all love Nana's camp!

ivy attempted it this year but then after we went out to dinner we stopped by just in time

for her to melt down & come home. haha

Pretty much the cutest "kids camp" ever!  my neighbor and her daughters put on the most

creative "EFK" camp.  hayes and livi couldn't wait for EFK to start!  

this year  at EFK they made their own shirts and tie dyed them too.

they loved having their cousins join them this year.   on the last day they had 

an alice in wonderland 'tea party' and i wish i would have had my camera.  it was gorgeous.  

the table was set up so cute with treats and donuts.  and of course "Alice"   

it was amazing.  

each day had such a fun theme.  each day when they came home they

 had all sorts of new things they made and did.  they were in heaven!

knudsen soccer camp

some of our friends from 'the rangers' soccer team have an annual kids

 soccer camp down the street from us.  it was awesome.   everyone was in their own age division and played games/drills/scrimmages  and got to eat otter pops after. 

even ivy got to be in the camp this year. 

the twins loved kicking the ball at their coach. haha

they can't wait to do it again next year!

after soccer camp we would go eat lunch and then head to 'liberty land', chuck e cheese, 

swimming or the alpine splash pad park.

i think it was the hottest week this summer...

i'm one exhausted momma!

these two wrestled for over an hour. seriously it was pretty stinkin funny all the looks they would get.

sports camps...

... are in full swing around here.
boston loves sports, his absolute favorite is football!
 he has added a few more {favorites} this summer.

the week that school was out all of his camps were starting.  in one week he had
basketball camp in the mornings and then lacrosse camp and rugby practice in the evening.
 then the next week was football camp.
he has loved every minute of it.

it's so fun to see him play, and the stories he has to tell afterwards. ha
he is one active kid and i love it!

chase plays for lonepeak and helped coach the football camp all week.  

boston's team was so awesome.  most of his buddies from his football team were 

with him and theywere UNDEFEATED!! they made it to the championship and then lost.  

so they got 2nd place.  after the championship game all the kids had

 a fun bbq and then awards were given.  

he loved this camp!

the best part of summer...

is our favorite shaved ice "Snoasis" here in alpine!

it's so good, and i am not even kidding!

they put ice cream in your shaved ice or better yet, cream! 

to.die.for.

i don't order one, because i end up drinking from everyones! ha

some favorites are... miss livi's 'maui wowee' and hayes' 'cotton candy'  

boston and ivy stick to 'tigers blood'  and it is so so good.  

the line is usually like a disneyland line!  {no joke}

the kids love to give weird names so that when theirs is 

ready the guy/gal has to yell it out. totally their highlight of the day!

{yes we go there quite often} 

we've been busy with summer camps!  boston is in heaven

 with lonepeak basketball camp, and lacrosse camp.  he comes home daily with stories of

 how his team won the layup contest and his big win of the "Mr. hustle" award!  

he thinks he is jimmer! {wink} 

lots of friends to play with and plenty of ball games to attend to.  

summer has finally arrived!

Rock Climbing Camp!

Boston has been in Rock Climbing camp all week from 8-12 ! He loves it! They had him Swinging off of the Top Deck and Climbing to the Top of the Ceiling and then he did this HUGE Swing and Repelled down, he said he was the only one to get to the Ceiling!
He has his Friends from our Ward in it too, so that makes it fun.

We are off to Jackson Hole, Wyo for the Weekend for Cory's Cousins Wedding!
Tori Jo Carson is getting married on Saturday so we will be hanging out with Family out there!
We bought a Cabin with an Airport Hanger :) So we have to meet the Furniture Truck there and i have to Put everything together this weekend too, Like Kitchen stuff, and Towels and Sheets! Fun, but alot of Work!

"Tournament of Champions"

Yes, we are Champions!!! We (the Sugarkings)won 2 of our Games today and one yesterday! We are now in the final Championship tomorrow! The games today were seriously Incredible! We beat a team who was Undefeated, and we won 17-10! Boston hit once and Bunt once and Scored Both times!!


Way to Go SUGARKINGS!!!

This week was a pretty crazy week for Boston and Sports! He had a little break when he went with his Dad last weekend to Work in Jackson Hole, Wyo, and Of course had a Blast! He got to Go down the Alpine slide, Go to a Corn Maze, Wakeboarding and Camping! So he was definitley entertained! (Thanks Tasha)

He has been in Golf Camp this week and has loved it!(not waking up early though)

On Wednesday he had Day Camp for Scouts, Thursday was the Beginning of our Baseball Tournament(double header) and afterwards the kids in our Neighborhood had a Swim Party and Watched "Jaws" on a HUGE Blowup Screen outside while they were in the pool! The mortons keep there Pool at like 90 degrees so it was like a Bathtub and Perfect for me!

Today he woke up and had his last day of Golf camp, Swim team practice, Baseball tournament and a Indoor soccer game at 6:30!

Call us NUTS....But he LOVES it!
It will all be over after this weekend though! Whew....

Lets hope we win tomorrows games and our Team will be #1 in UTAH!!!

Camp "JEREMIAH JOHNSON"

Boston went to his very first time at Scout Camp! They left at 6:45 this morning and have been there all day. They did all sorts of Sweet stuff, like Archery, Sling Shots, tied knots, and he even won the BB gun contest!
He came home with all sorts of Cool,Disgusting stuff . He bought all these Racoon skins and Tails, with claws on them, and a ton of "Jeremiah Johnson" Bracelets if you couldn't tell by his picture!
