17 years and counting...

I feel like the luckiest  woman alive!  17 years already? man the time does fly when 

you are having fun!  I love my life so much and all that i am i owe to 

my amazing husband for giving me everything i've ever wanted! So grateful to 

share these years and many more with this man.  

We spent the day as a family doing Crossfit and then Cory and I went out

to Happy Sumo.  It was a perfect day to celebrate!

16 years!

you know you are happily married and comfortable with your spouse when on your 

anniversary you would rather hang out at home and watch your fav dvr'd shows 

that you have been dying to watch! ha!

we had our anniversary on a friday and also 2 basketball games along with another 

one on saturday night at 9pm! Cory is coaching Boston's bantum bball team so 

we couldn't miss out on these games.

we decided to spend our "sweet sixteen" doing what we love best! spending it with our kids

and our ultimate fav burger joint!   we all love "Sammy's" and since it was early out

we grabbed the kids from school at noon and spent the afternoon together.

the best part about it, is we Loved it! this was one of our fav anniversaries... 

sometimes it's best just keepin it real!

"sammy's" is famous for their Pie shakes! My ultimate favorite is their pumpkin pie shake! 

 run don't walk to their new location in Pleasant Grove.

anniversary 'getaway'

this passed weekend Cory & I celebrated "fifteen" years of marraige!! 

Booyah!

i think i got pretty spoiled & lucky to be married to this guy.  he's pretty much incredible!  

 I love how we totally balance each others personalities, i'm a free spirit 

and he grounds me, he's always been so patient and helps me to sit back and

 focus on what's really important, like the simple things.

he's my calm after a storm.

There are many things i admire about him, i've learned that as we are getting older,
{i mean wiser} he has become more sensitive as a husband and as a father.  he's a total softy,
 and so so good to me.
  I love more than anything to know that we are his life.  It's a good feeling!

i can't wait for many many more years to come.

we had good intentions of escaping the cold weather and lying on a sandy beach, or skiing at our most favorite resorts, or just doing something perfect for our '15th' year...

but, everywhere was COLD!  

and if i'm heading to mexico for a weekend it is going to need to be warmer than 65 degrees!

...so we escaped to  downtown salt lake city! 

 It was seriously so fun, to actually go eat at the restaurants we've been dying to try.  

Cory works downtown so he knew all the yummy places to eat.

they are almost done with the "City Creek" development, and that is going to be so sweet.

we went to the temple and realized it was the same cold, beautiful day as it was '15 years' ago~wink

we shopped lots, ate at this cute little sandwich shop called Toasters. {so delicious}

went to the gym daily & Spa.

 on our anniversary night we ate dinner at the "Metropolitan" and it was
TO. DIE. FOR.

 the atmosphere was incredible and they put us right next to the fire.
we would highly recommend it.

~it was a great little 'getaway' and a much needed shopping trip!

fourteen years ago...

Today

on a very very snowy and cold day. I married my best friend!

It's crazy to me how fast time goes by... We've been through thick and thin, & i wouldn't change it for the world. I love looking back through the years at pictures and seeing so much change.  We made them together.

 When i was 16 yrs old i wrote down all the qualities I wanted in a husband {in YW} we put them in an envelope and when we were married our leaders kept them and gave them to us {still so cool} and every single one of those qualities is Cory!  They weren't just a few qualities... I was 16 and wrote down things that seem so unreal, it still amazes me!
I feel very lucky to have such an amazing husband, best friend, father to my children, provider, peacemaker & love of my life.

we truly balance each other out.

Cabo San Lucas...

We are back home, from our Fabulous Vacation in Mexico!
Our Best Friends, Geoff & Jenn Went with us and It was so nice and Relaxing and we enjoyed every minute of it...

All we did was Sleep in, Go to the Gym, get a Massage, Hang out on the Beach, by the Pool, ordered THE BEST Chips and Salsa/Guacamole, Chicken Tacos & Nachos, and hung out in the SPA until It was time for dinner!

The Food was so good, and we were definitely so excited to go back to this Resort for the "Adult Only" atmosphere.

We went out on the town in Cabo, and ate at "Ruth's Chris" for our Anniversary Dinner...They sent us a free Dessert that said "Happy Birthday" instead of "Happy Anniversary" it was sweet cause the guy thought i was "21" hehehe....

We were so spoiled and Had many of Massages, so this was our Couples massage out on the Beach right before we went and had our Candlelight dinner on the Beach...

Housekeeping made some Cute Little Displays all over our Room, it was so cute!



We had the Most Amazing night while eating a candlelight dinner on the Beach with the most Beautiful Sunset and hanging out watching the Whales all over (there were seriously HUGE Whales and so close). It was such a Cool night, with Tiki Torches , Delicious Food, and then we got to hang out on the Beds and Cory and I watched "Prison Break" it is so Addicting....

We watched "Prison Break" and Couldn't get enough, it is so AWESOME, we are definitely hooked..... And i read This...


We came home to a Cute "Welcome Home" from our Kiddos with Cookies and a Scavenger Hunt to find them...

It was a Fun vacation, but it is always so exciting to come home and see your little family!!!

We are headed "South of the Border"...

We are off to Cabo for our 12 year Anniversary!! We left you with some sweet Entertainment while we're away!

Happy Anniversary!!!!

11 years and still going strong! It's amazing how fast the years go by when your married to your True love & Best friend!

We got a couples massage out on the beach today and hung out at the Pool, and Went to Ruth's Chris for Dinner! We couldn't believe that their was a Ruth's Chris in MEXICO, so that was a Neat Suprise!!

Dusty and Jane have been married 11 years also on FEB. 1st!

HOLA! From MEXICO.....

This is our view outside our room! It's so beautiful here! We have seen so many Whales just outside our Balcony. The Hotel we are staying at is the Pueblo bonito Pacifica Holistic retreat and Spa...So they make it very Relaxing and very Holistic! In the Background of this picture you can see where they have King size beds that you can lay out and get your couples Massage right on the Beach! We are having that done Tomorrow!
Today we slept in, Layed out all day on the Beach, Ordered Delicious Chicken and Shrimp Tacos, Nachos (that are to die for)...Dos Platos De nachos, por Favor!

Went to the Spa had a Sweet Treatment in this like Dome Hut that is called a Temazcal! HOLY COW, we were all so relaxed and it was Awesome! Now we are heading to the GYM and then out to eat! The Restaraunt in this Hotel is soooo Good! It is so fun to just hang out with each other and so Nice to have a Hubby that knows SPANISH! I already finished my "South Beach Diet" book! IT's a great Read, and We are starting our Phase 1 process when we get home! Cory is reading a Dean Koontz book, We are in Heaven! But We do miss our little kiddos..... LOVE YOU GUYS!

Tomorrow we have YOGA on the Beach!
