my little swimmer...

Ivy and her cute friend Mariah did swim lessons together.  Ivy loves swimming
and can actually swim really good.  It was the highlight of her week.
She improved so much more and now thinks she's on the swim team. haha!

survival swimming...

 We just fininshed up a 3 week program for swimming.
Pam is extremely skilled in the swimming department, specializing in
'survival swimming' with mostly small children.
 Olivia and Hayes have swam with her before and so now
she is teaching them strokes and they both can swim the length of the pool
with no problems at all.  They are such great little swimmers,
 and ready for the swim team!

but,
this year  my little 2 year old started, and i was so nervous for her...
  she did so good.  she knows where her 'safe place' is if she needs some air.
It's amazing!  this is Ivy's first year.

We love swimming with Pam
She's wonderful.  I love how she is so calm and patient with the kids.
even if some of them cry for the first week. ~wink {my ivy}

nothing is more important to us momma's than water safety, i hear more than
enough times about a child drowning, or near drowning experiences.
so i thought i would pass the information along to you so we can all just be a little more
prepared at the pools or on vaction this summer!

 Pam Young, in Orem.  {225-5753}
she's gets booked super fast.

I'm pretty set on having my children be awesome skiers and
awesome swimmers in their lifetime!  haha

Ivy

every friday is "fun friday" which means they can jump off the diving board or do the slide,
play some games etc. well our last day she brought snorkels for the twins to get used to for
when we all go to Hawaii!

Orem "Summerfest"

Our Friday started off with a Riverside Swim meet at 9 am. Boston did Great with a first place in Backstroke and 2nd place in Freestyle. He was a little bummed out that they didn't have enough time to do the Relay and Breast stroke.
Hayes & Olivia had their Lessons, which they LOVE and they are doing so great! I love how they are comfortable in the water this year. They used to just cry when they had to get in the water. (they think they are on the Swim team with Boston, it's so cute)

After Swim we went with some of our Taylor Cousins to the Orem Carnival! Oh yah, it was a total blast and my little ones just loved it there. We spent a few hours there and the kids were going on everything Spinning and Rolling! Boston went on the Zipper with his Friend Chase and they looked really freaked out, we were a little worried. But then they got off running to us screaming "that was the BEST ride Ever" I am suprised he didn't Puke after that whole day!

There were some Ghetto rides, but my kids loved it, especially the Pirate one!
It didn't end there...we went to Tepanyaki with the Taylors, Curry's, and Carsons all on two tables by each other, it was so fun and SO Yummy! (the picture of the other table is a little blurry to post. Sorry) It was a super fun day, but busy! And through all of that Hayes and Olivia were in Big Boy and Girl Underpants NO Accidents that day!

Swimming Lessons

Everyday we have Swim Team for Boston and so i just asked 2 of the swim coaches if they would give Hayes & Olivia a 15 min. private lesson before the Real Swim Lessons started. They are loving it and they seriously are learning.
Today is day 2 of Olivia Not peeing in her Pants...Hayes is a different Story, but i am still making him do it. ;)
