"a pee pee in the potty"..

My little monkeys are going in the Potty! We are on day 5 and it is our best day so far!
Will they ever tell you that they have to go Pee pee, or do i always have to put them on the Potty forever??!!
My strategy, thanks to my good friend Jane, is this...
i went to the Dollar store i bought like 80 or so little Presents, so each time they go potty they get a new little toy, Each! They love their prize after the Potty, so now they look forward to something each time!
I am hoping this gets easier as the time goes by, some days are really hard, and then we have some Good Days!
Wish me some Luck or some advice....

Looks like you guys are having fun with the potty training! I did the prize thing with Tyra too, and it seemed to work pretty good. I also heard to have them drink more than usual so they can feel the urge to go more!!?? I don't know Tyra still wets at night, so I'm no expert.

hey-Shannon, the art school is "Hermitage School of Art" and the director is Victoria Valentine, their number is 224-6552. You can check if they have space, I think you have to start in September of each year but I might be wrong...

Also, the twins look adorable in their underwear! hehe

WHAAAHOOO for potty training. :) I am potty training my baby and actually having a lot of fun with her. Sounds like you have some great ideas. Good luck. The twins look darling and like they are having too much fun with eachother. I love that about twins. :)

Our secret weapon when our boys were learning were the paper battleships we would throw in the potty then they would have to 'sink' them! It worked great! They are available at the store.

I wish I had some good advice for you! I did the treat thing too. I also did M&M's for a while too, that was okay. I also put their favorite character undies on them & told them that whoever was on their undies would be sad if they pee peed on them. I know, horrible. I'm sure they are going to need therapy when they are older, but it worked!
Good Luck!!
I love the pics of them in their cute little undies!

I was ready to let Cam and Coop wear diapers until they left on their missions, so I'm not much help. One day, after all the talking, trying, accidents, and laundry they just got it! I'm not looking forward to doing it again, that's for sure.

Oh Yea!! Potty Training! Good Luck little babies! I think the little gifts is such a great idea! My Mom did that for my little brother and she also had a chart with stickers that each time he'd use the potty he'd get to put a sticker on the chart and once he had ten stickers he'd get to go somewhere like Chuck E. Cheese or something like that. Really I think they do it when they're ready :) Sounds like they're getting used to it!

CONGRATULATIONS! What a fun milestone to be overcoming. Good job, Shannon, because I know how hard it is with one ... I can't imagine doing two at a time! Cute pics. They are just so full of life and so much fun to watch grow up.

Glad you liked the Veggie movie. We went Monday to see it, too, and even Russ and I got a kick out of it!

The best advice I got was to really praise them for staying dry, when you put them on the potty and they are still dry make it a big deal so they will want to stay dry. Good luck!!

I decided long ago - I would just sent diapers with my son on his mission and send diapers to college for my daugthers! With all that pressure off they seem to take care of business by themselves!!! hahahahaha
