San Diego ...

Cory and I took off for a quick trip to San Diego this past weekend. We explored all over San Diego! It was so nice to feel warm Spring like weather, since we have been so cold this winter!
We ate dinner at "Jepangas"(japanese restaurant) and "the Melting Pot". I am a HUGE fan of "Togo's" (ok... all of my sisters are) so we ate there everyday for Lunch (Thanks babe).
We rented bikes and rode all over Pacific Beach, it was awesome!! I am now wanting a Beach cruiser bike, like with a basket and all.
We stayed right by the San Diego temple and everytime we drove past, it was so Breathtaking!! I love this temple....
We slept in (well cory did), and while he was sleeping I read this book, and LOVED it...

I love San Diego! I'm dying to go to CA. The beach cruisers look so fun, we have some here with baksets and all but I think it's a little more fun when you can actually ride them by the beach instead of in the city :)

Looks like you had such a fun weekend. Glad the weather was nice for you, because the weekend before was CRAP! We absolutely LOVE San Diego. I think we are going in June this year. How is the packing coming along? Do you know where you are going to move?

LOVE the beach cruisers. Looks like so much fun. That temple is absolutely gorgeous! I am so anxious for the weather to get nice here so we can bike up the canyon. I have spring fever big time! 5 more weeks until Hawaii!

You two are cute on your bikes, I'm so glad you got to have some warm weather! I have to admit, I hope you didn't find any houses or neighborhoods you liked! I hope they were all horrible, and you decide to stay right here!

But, I'm glad you got reading time and finished "A Thousand Splendid Suns" - isn't it a great read!

p.s. the temple picture isn't coming up on my computer....

i guess this is why i didn't get a hold of you. would have been fun to see you at sundance. san diego sounds so nice although utah was not too bad with the 60 degree weather. now back in the cold stuff.

What a fun getaway! No mention of a great find on a house, so I am selfishly hoping that there wasn't one (and you'll have to stay here)!

Although if you DO move there, you will DEFINITELY have to budget in a beach-cruiser for sure! So old school and so very cool!

I also loved Splendid Suns... made me so grateful to be a woman in AMERICA! We are so blessed! :)

S.D. is a fun place and I have great memories of Sis. Trips there. Although the water is much warmer here in the summer and you can stay in until you wrinkle! So I vote you come and live here!!!! We miss you guys!
