we did it!
we decided to hike to the "Y" at night while my niece grace was here. She had never done it before and was so excited to do it while she was here, and it was awesome. It was a gorgeous night and i didn't want to leave my baby out of the fun so we put her in a backpack and off we went.
i can't believe how good these kids did.
My twins were awesome, no complaining at all and livi was even way ahead of me.
i for sure thought they wouldn't make it to the top but i knew Boston would. so i was planning on hanging out with the little ones until everyone came back down the mountain.
to my surprise, they climbed all the way to the top!!!
my little babies {5 yr olds} were ahead of me the whole time, and they had soccer camp that same morning very early.
I loved it!
It was a proud mommy moment. I am so proud of these guys!
ivy wanted to get out and hike for a bit, she thinks she's a "big girl."
doesn't she know she's my baby??

WAY TO GO OLIVIA AND HAYES!!!
That is so awesome! I am so proud of all those kids. I love that you are wearing your Ragnar shirt:)
way to go, all the kiddos! Dusty mentioned on Father's Day that maybe he wanted to hike the Y for 'his day' but we decided against it because i wasn't sure how sela would do...this is inspiring...maybe we'll try it with her {and the other kiddos} one of these nights!!!
What a fun evening together! Great pictures!
Shannon, your ambition is SO contagious! My kids have never hiked the Y.... and neither have I ;-)
Oh, Baby! How about those Johnson genes? Crazy and cool at the same time! Congrats! Too fun!
Yeah Hayes and Livi! I love how you still call them your babies - but they are growing up quick! Kindergarten this Fall! Looks like a warm evening, perfect for a hike. Do your kids appreciate what a fun momma they have?
I've never climbed the Y either :) Judd and I will have to add it to our list right after Timp. If I convince a Ute to go up there :) Looks like fun!
I love hiking the Y! It is much easier than you think.
The only time I hiked the Y was my first week at BYU... such a fun memory! Your kids are so lucky that you do stuff like this with them all the time!
