The host & hostess...
Our friends Dusty & Jane were the ultimate party hosts! We seriously had a rockin new years. they totally know how to throw a crazy fun party.
It was the 50's theme and everyone was dressed up so awesome. especially the kids. The food was fabulous we had huge juicy diner style hamburgers, french fries, shakes, root beer floats and all the works that go with the 50's style diner.
We played fun fun games with the kids... bubble gum contests, face painting, balloon making, hula hoop contest, swing dancing, etc then we had some hilarious laughs at the adult hula hoop contests! I am still laughing at how hard it really is to hula hoop, i warmed up and then was great!! haha
My kids never stay up this late but they did awesome and close to the end Cory was a trooper and took Ivy home to bed. so i rang in the new year with Boston, Hayes & Olivia... It was so much fun.
Jane & Dusty even had their pool heated for everyone to jump in after and fireworks and all... my kids were ready for bed!

what a fun & CRAZY night! i love your pictures, i just posted and should have checked here first, to copy some... we never ended up swimming, we had heated & tested the pool earlier in the day, opened it up, etc. then at midnight dusty spent like 30 minutes working on it and the entire system had shut down, we couldn't even open it! the older kids were so bummed!
thanks for coming, happy new year, and i'll think about this whole biking thing...i'm really not good at it. my tires like hate me or something...
