The WitchFest!

When the boys went off to the Priesthood the Girls went to Gardners Village!  It was a beautiful 

fall day and perfect for walking around looking for the Witches!

it was so fun for the girls to play together and shop in the candy store.  The Witches are

so cute and it's decorated so awesome there.  Lots of fun games, and face painting to add

to the festivities.

after we found the witches and got our faces painted we were off to Cafe Rio.

You know i LOVE Fall in Utah, but better than fall i love Halloween!!
I always wait until October 1st to pull out all of my Halloween decor and treats.  I love 

surprising my kids with all the fun halloween stuff that they've been dying to 

eat and play with.

After school they came home to a decorated house and their bags filled 

with goodies and treats.  I also made their favorite Mummy Dogs and 

some witch fingers.  

I LOVE October!! 

that night we went with our cousins to see "Hotel Transylvania" and it was so cute!
can't wait to see it again soon!

Flag Football...

This is Hayes' first year playing "Flag Football"  he plays it a ton with the neighborhood 

boys and boston.  It is so fun to see him play on a team with some friends and actually 

really understand some plays.  He LOVES it!  

Our team is actually pretty dang good, we had a last minute coach change and

so we were a little concerned when we started.  Luckily we have a couple 

elite playing kids so we get plenty of touchdowns.

Hayes has played all positions, but so far he loves hiking the ball the best;.

He is seriously such a goofball!  

Ivy starts dancing...

Ivy has been dying to go to dance at the Vibe with Olivia!  I kept telling her when she turns 4. 

 So she was reminding me like crazy when she had her birthday.  

When i signed her up they had a time when Olivia went so it was very convenient, we gave it a try 

 and she LOVES it so much.  The girl can dance!

Mrs. Cassie is her teacher and we LOVE her so much!  Ivy can already do a backbend and

yesterday she told me she did a "Sache" {she was so proud}

Olivia is going on her 4th year of dance.  She loves dance!  Liv does Hip Hop and Jazz 

and is now adding Ballet to her classes.

Hogle Zoo

We love having NO school when everyone else does!  

That means anywhere we go there will be NO crowds!  We went with our 

friends the Horsley's to the zoo last monday.  It was a bit of an overcast day, but luckily no rain.  

The kids loved seeing all the animals in action.  The only one who was sleeping was

 the Polar bear and the Grizzly bears.   

Hayes and Collin loved the snakes and reptiles.  We haven't been to the Zoo in a while

so i was surprised how much they loved it! looks like we will have to go more often.

The Tigers were wide awake and very playful, almost too playful! ha!

AF Football!

It's that time of year again!  FOOTBALL Season!  

I love watching my boy play his sport.  He loves this game with a passion and it is

so fun to see him in action.

their very first game they lost, you could imagine how bummed they were.   

But they have been unstoppable ever since.  Winning streak is on!

Boston plays running back and middle line backer {his favorites}   

we always laugh so hard, but theboy can hit HARD!  He plays 7th grade football this 

year so it is a bit tougher and they have some HUGE boys on these teams.  like HUGE!

a couple of his buddies from our neighborhood are all on the same team this year.  

they love it and have a blast together.  

last week at practice he got hit to the ground really hard, total accident. 

 But has been out with a concussion. boo!  

sadly he is the one usually hurting the other kids.  He had to sit out these last 2 games

and it is killing him.  he continues to go to practice, but is ready to play this next week.

just had to wait for his headaches to go away.

miss four...

my little ivy grace is officially four!  Her birthday party was so fun, and we celebrated 

pretty much all week! haha!

Her actual birthday was on sunday, and it was so perfect to spend the whole day catering to 

what she wanted to do with her family.

she woke up and we had our traditional birthday breakfast and opening of 

presents.  She got an American Girl dog for Kit.  {which she adores}, a new La La 

Loopsey, and when her cousins & Grandparents came over for cake she got lots more.

Ivy reminds us every day she is 4.  She is absolutely the light of our life and she knows it.

she keeps us on our toes with her spunky demanding but hilarious personality.

we wouldn't want her any other way.

after church we spent the afternoon riding bikes and longboarding at the park behind our house.

boston and cory can rip on the long board and penny board so of course

she had to try it too.

instead of learning to ride a bike at 4 she is longboarding all by herself. Ha!

 later cousins and grandparents came over to sing to her and then eat the delicious rainbow cake. {recipe found on pinterest}  it was surprisingly so yummy and so cute!

and at her preschool we brought her class some of her favorite pink sprinkled doughnuts 

from our favorite spot!
