The "Conference bowl"

lately boston has been bugging us to play tackle football.

i figured he was plenty busy with his competition soccer team, with 3 practices a week that are about 2 hrs long, so i didn't sign him up.

he doesn't quite have the physique for football yet and i didn't think he was ready to be attacked by all these HUGE 4th and 5th graders. plus cory didn't want him to hate it once he got hurt.

don't get me wrong, this kid plays plenty of football. between his dad and his cousins & friends he is plenty active with this sport. so we decided to get him some pads and a helmet.

we went and played with the neighbor boys during conference weekend and he couldn't get enough. he said he loves the feeling of tackling. haha

his favorite position is a wide receiver and is actually really good at it. he now wants to be a professional Football player...

hayes got in on the action too. now this kid is tough and loves to tackle. hehe

i finsished these two adorable quilts. the one on the left is baby ivy's and the one on the right is my cute little niece charlotte. she was born in september. yah for more girl cousins.
the material is all "amy butler" i love her stuff...
