4 years ago today...

I had "3" beautiful little babies. Being born Pre mature, we endured a long Journey. I still wonder to this day, how did i ever get so lucky to be chosen to be their mommy...

Parker Charles
1lb 11 oz

Hayes Terrance
1lb 9oz

Olivia Faith
1lb 8oz

We made it through and have witnessed a huge miracle! We have been so truly blessed in our family and acknowledge the Lords hand in ALL of it. I tear up when I remember the feelings of love & kindness that was shown to our family. It was the Power of Prayer that carried us through this Journey, and will never go unforgotten.

I just read in the November Ensign, Elder Joseph B Wirthlin's talk "Come what may, and Love it" I love this talk! It is so true! I know these experiences we endure in our life build our character and make us a much stronger person. Through all of this, Cory and I like the kind of people we are today, we appreciate life a little more and feel like this has shaped us to be more compassionate towards others, and have a greater understanding of our Eternal plan.

While enduring it with a faithful heart, we have been compensated...

i can't believe how fast time has gone by! The day I received a call from the hospital telling me that there were complications and they were taking the babies, my mind started racing wondering what would happen. I started thinking that Boston and I were going to lose a mom/wife and brothers and sister. The time in the NICU and ICU with Shannon was bitter sweet for me. I realized how much Heavenly Father loves me and my family and how much I love them as well. The day we spent with Parker when he passed away was something I will never forget. We had our family with us and truly experienced the most spiritual experience of our life. Knowing that we will have Parker in our family forever is the most comforting feeling I could ever ask for. I want to personally thank everyone that has offered words of comfort and spent sleepless nights with us at the hospital. We couldn't have made it without you all. The prayers and fasting on behalf of Shannon and Parker, Hayes and Olivia worked. Prayer is real and Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to reach out to him so he can bless us daily. I love my family and feel so blessed to have Olivia and Hayes alive and healthy to be part of our earthly journey. Our attitude towards our trials definitely determines the outcome. I am thankful for the lessons learned and for the outpouring of love from family and friends. I love being a Father to greatest children one could ask for.
