Can i get a definition please?

Boston made it into the Spelling Bee at his School for the "3rd" Grade.  He was so nervous and had no idea what to expect.

First off, let me brag him up a little....
He is pretty much an amazing Speller and never needs to study his spelling words, it is just so natural for him.   He has an excellent memory and has just always been a great little speller.

Well, they changed the Spelling bee to be one week earlier and gave the kids one day to look through the words.  well Boston got one night to look through them.  Cory and I were out on our Anniversary date while he was at home studying with Nana and Papa.
When we got home that night, he knew all the words.  They weren't all easy words either. They were like "Heirloom, Earthenware, Souvenir, Candidate" etc...

So on his first round he got the word "Frolic"  so easy, right?

Well he was nervous and started out with "F  O   R,  & said  Oh i mean "F  R  O  L  I C"  ~  Correct, but it was too late and he already said F  O  first.
BUMMER!!!

He looked like he was about to cry and later on did a little.  He is such a sweet little guy and he was so bugged at himself for saying it so fast.

He was so bugged because he knew all the hard words that all the kids were spelling too.
Now he knows for next time...

Good Job buddy!

Boston is in the 2nd row, far right

Spelling Bees are so stressful for me to watch! He did great making it to the spelling bee-way to go Boston!! That is a bummer that happened...and too bad they have those rules, they do the same thing at Kate's school too. For some reason they aren't having a third grade spelling bee this year at Kate's school.
